Understanding the Dashboard & Features

The T2 Product Description Icons app provides an intuitive dashboard to help you create, manage, and customize badges for your Shopify store. Below is a step-by-step guide to understanding its key features.

1. Select the Badge Type The app supports 2 types of badges:

• Text – Displays a text-based badge.
• Image – Upload a custom badge image.

2. Customize Badge Content

• Badge Text – Enter the text to be displayed on the badge.
• Badge Link (Optional)– Add a URL if you want the badge to be clickable.
  • Example: http://yourstore.com/sale
  • Check the box for Open in the same tab if needed.
• Tooltip (Optional, Max 100 Characters) – Add a short tooltip description that appears when customers hover over the badge.
  
  

3. Design Your Badge

• Shape – Choose the badge shape that fits your store's design.
• Size – Select the preferred badge size (e.g., Medium).
• Background Color – Pick a background color for your badge.
• Opacity – Adjust the transparency level (Default: 1 for fully visible).
• Shadow – Choose whether to add a shadow effect (Default: No Shadow).
• Text Customization
  • Adjust font size (Default: 14px).
  • Choose a font family for the badge text.
• Border Settings
  • Select No Border or enable a border with Solid styling.
• Text Variations
  • Customize text size and styling for Mobile and Tablet devices (Default: No change).
    
    

4. Set Display Conditions

• Choose between All Conditions or Any Condition for badge visibility.
• Select Product Scope:
  • All Products – The badge will appear on all products (you can exclude specific ones).
  • Pro Conditions – Advanced rules based on product attributes.
  • Gold Conditions – Premium-level rules for badge display.
• Review the Excluded Products count to ensure the badge appears where needed.
  
  

5. Set Badge Visibility

• Choose Visible to display the badge immediately.
• Set Visibility Date (Optional) – Schedule the badge to be shown only for a specific period.
  
  

6. Save and Preview

1. Click Save to apply your changes.
2. Visit a product page to verify that the badge appears correctly.
